Paul received a call from a longtime friend of the family. He and his family were moving to Dallas and buying a home in University Park. He reached out to Paul to help him remodel the home to fit their vision and design preferences. With the help of a local Design Firm and Paul’s vision, they were able to bring this home up-to-date with gorgeous features and upgrades.
This quality home was originally built by Hawkins-Welwood and was designed with the traditional center hall for the Park Cities. Now, almost 15 years after the original build, the new owners wanted their home to have a more transitional style leaning toward contemporary. The interior finishes and textures were changed from the front door to the back door.
The interior finished were all updated with new LED lighting and decorative lighting fixtures, floors, cabinets and countertops, plumbing, hardware and a coordinating paint scheme throughout.
The previous kitchen pantry was converted into a wine cellar with iron and glass doors to house over 500 bottles!
With kids in the family, the client converted the bonus room over the garage (the previous owner’s gym) to a bunk room with built-in bunks.
This was an exciting project to work on as the client has been down this road before and understood how to provide Waterside and the design team with the information required to execute a magnificent project.
